Biography:

Mandy Dorman practices civil rights litigation and employment law. Prior to joining the firm, Mandy clerked for Presiding Judge Darleen Ortega on the Oregon Court of Appeals, where she gained valuable insight into Oregon’s judiciary and aspired to create and uphold a more just system.

Mandy earned her J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law, where she worked as a tutor in the nation’s top-ranked Legal Research and Writing program, and conducted research on topics related to civil rights and the criminal legal system. In 2021, Mandy was granted the inaugural David and Sharon Schuman Legal Justice Fellowship through the Wayne Morse Center, which supports a summer externship in civil rights litigation. Prior to law school, she worked as a case manager and development director at a nonprofit focused on criminal justice interventions and reform in Oklahoma City, after moving there to earn a Master of Science in Crime and Intelligence Analysis from University of Central Oklahoma.

Mandy was born and raised in Eugene where she lives with her partner, Chris, and their two cats. In her spare time, she loves to read, spend time in nature, and build community.
